Janomot report: Nadu Namahshudra, a teacher at Lalabazar High School and College in Sylhet, has been charged with attempted misappropriation of land. The aggrieved village doctor Krishna Sarkar has lodged a written complaint with the Sylhet Deputy Commissioner and District Secondary Education Officer (November 1) seeking redressal.
According to the complaint, during the coronation period, Lalabazar High School and College teacher Nadu Namahsudra was staying at Lakshi Haor (Jalurmukh) of Salutikar No. 7 Nandirgaon Union. The teacher is desperate to take over the Boro paddy field owned by village doctor Krishna Sarkar with 7/8 miscreants. In the meantime, paddy cultivation has become unsuitable as a result of cutting the boro dam and forcibly snatching fish including water for irrigation.
It has caused a loss of about half a million rupees. To get rid of this, the victim lodged a written complaint with the Sylhet Deputy Commissioner and the District Secondary Education Officer (November 1).
He mentioned in the complaint that the amount of land like Mouza Chadivhadi Haor, Khatian No. 80, JL No. 129, Dag No. 151, Class Boro is 2 acres. Besides, in the same 151 spots there is another 1 acre 50 per cent, BS spot no 140, area 1 acre 50 per cent, BS spot no 148 area 1 acre 50 per cent The total area has been cultivating paddy for a long time by demarcating 8 and a half acres of borough land. In this situation, the land-grabbing fish-hunting gang, Boro, destroyed the paddy cultivation and humiliated him by cutting the barrier of the border at around 7am on Friday (October 30) and snatched the fish by drying the water. Earlier, Nadu Namah had looted several lands in the same manner above 148 dags and occupied them forcibly.
After receiving the news of the incident, the family members including the owner of the land went to the spot and the miscreants killed him and his family members and threatened to kill his body and disappear. At that time, they chased them with local weapons, Ram Da and Chulfi Jatha. Somehow they ran and died. After receiving the news of the incident, Gowainghat police visited the spot.
SI Mannan of Gowainghat police station confirmed the truth.
He said on his mobile phone that the land owner Krishna Sarkar had lodged a written complaint with the police station. The truth of the incident has also been found. Legal action is being taken against them.
When I contacted Lalabazar High School and College teacher Nadu Namahshudra on his mobile phone, he could not take any statement as his mobile phone was switched off. On the other hand, Krishna Sarkar, a village doctor in the same area, said on his mobile phone that the accused were threatening him in various ways to drop the charges. At any time, they may conspire against him and his family members, including conspiracy theorists. He is currently living in extreme insecurity for fear of them and living a dehumanized life.
