Da’atul Islam acquires new premises to establish masjid and community centre for resident of Redbridge Hassan Moin Uddin

Alhamdulillah, Dawatul Islam UK Eire is pleased to announce it has completed acquisition of the Gants Hill Church Hall situated on Woodford Avenue, Redbridge, Ilford IG2 6UH to establish a much needed Masjid and community centre for the residents of Redbridge. 

The 270 square meters site was purchased for £900,000 with donations and ‘Qard-e/Hasansh’ from well-wishes around the country and the membership of the organisation.

The Masjid and community centre will be known as Darul Ummah Redbridge.

Hassan Moin uddin, the president of Da’watul Islam said, “After two years of hard work and relentless efforts by so many people behind the scenes, our trustees and I are delighted we have been able to complete this significant acquisition which will become an important hub for the local community offering a variety of much needed community service in the area.”

He went on to say , "We are grateful to everyone who came forward to help and support us in this noble initiative,  and may Allah reward you all abundantly in this world and the Hereafter Ameen."

Darul Ummah Redbridge will opener under the auspices  of the Organizations Redbridge Branch, and in addition to being a place of worship. Will offer programmes for  children and adults to study the Qur'an and Hadith and be a place for the local community to meet,  discuss and develop responses to community needs.
