Journalist's life endangered at  Srimangal in Bangladesh

Sangram Datta: A journalist and his family members are facing threat spreading misinformation and disinformation on various Facebook  IDs by a section of vested quarters at Srimangal town under Moulvibazar district in Bangladesh recently.

The victim  identified as Bikul Chakraborty, Moulvibazar district correspondent of Ekushey TV (ETV) .
On September -2, Journalist Bikul Chakraborty in his Facebook ID  posted and said  that some vested quarters from home and abroad shared provocative communal posts against him with a view to harrassing and endergering lives of his family members and him.
Some vested quarters  shared and spread communal provocative posts against him from several Facebook IDs for last few days, Bikul Chakraborty alleged in his Facebook IDs.

He also asserted that some vested quarters  spread those which were fabricated, motivated and baseless.
It's a conspiracy against me with a view to harrassing and endergering my life
and harming communal harmony in a planned way, Said journalist Bikul Chakraborty.

He also mentioned that there was such a campaign against me in 2013. Then, local Imams and elites varified the matter ins and outs at Srimangal Chaumuhani at that time. After examining the matter, they ( Imams and elites) told me that someone hatched the conspiracy and tried to force it on me.
They ( local Imams and elites)also  asserted that It wasn't  your fault.
Mr. Mohsin Mia Madhu, the then  former mayor of Srimangal Municipality knows the whole matter.

His family members and he feel insecurity following the spreading of misinformation and disinformation by some vested interests who
acted those to fulfill their ill motive, He reported in his Facebook ID.

He noted that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5, a mob vandalized and looted my office and this caused a huge amount of financial loss at Hobiganj road in Srimangal town.
