Only 5 Bangladeshis performing Hajj this year!

Janomot report: The holy Hajj is being celebrated on a limited scale in Mekkah, the holy city of Saudi Arabia. The formality of Hajj has started on Tuesday night. Now the pilgrims are staying in Mina. It is learned that a small number of pilgrims from 160 countries are performing in Hajj. Of these, only 5 are Bangladeshis.

Those who went to Saudi Arabia to perform hajj this year, soon after arriving in Makkah, their body temperature and virus were tested. Participants had to stay in quarantine before and after the start of Hajj.

Saudi Arabia's national disease prevention and control authority has issued special hygiene rules for the pilgrims due to the epidemic coronavirus.

According to the rules, Hajj pilgrims are not allowed to kiss or touch the Kaaba and black stones and must use sterile packaged stones beforehand to throw stones at the devil. 

Hajj pilgrims and those in charge of Hajj must wear a safety mask and throw it in a specific place after use. 

Hajj pilgrims should keep a distance of at least one and a half meters between the two wherever they gather. 

The municipality has recruited at least 18,490 workers this year to provide better services to the pilgrims. Twenty-eight new and fully equipped service centers have been set up at important places including the holy places of Hajj. 

At least 13,500 sweepers have been deployed in these places to keep neat and cline for 24 hours. While 6,900 underground garbage containers have been placed in the holy Mina.
