Press Council Chairman Visits at BWSF in Srimangal

Sangram Datta: The Chairman of the Bangladesh Press Council  A. K. M. Abdul Hakim (former Judge of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh) visited the Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation at Rupaspur Village in Srimangal under Moulvibazar district on February-27. 

He was accompanied by the Officer-in-Charge of Srimangal Police Station and the Assistant Commissioner of Land of Srimangal Upazila. 

He expressed his satisfaction after visiting the animal and bird shelter.

Sitesh Ranjan Deb, an eminent figure of Ram krishna mission road in Srimangal town of the district founded the Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation several decades ago.  

There is a variety of wildlife including tigers and bears. Hundreds of people from home and abroad visit here every day. It's locally known as mini zoo of Shitesh Babu.
