SYLHET — In a move to provide Sylhet residents with greater access to advanced medical care, Amrita Hospital Faridabad, one of India’s largest private hospitals, held an informational partners' meeting on September 2nd, 2025. The event, held in association with Sylhet Medicare, aimed to highlight the comprehensive medical and financial benefits available to patients from Bangladesh.
Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Senior Manager at Amrita Hospital, led the session, explaining that the hospital offers a vast range of treatments across 81 specialties, positioning it as a leading institution for complex and advanced medical procedures. He detailed the various financial incentives and medical benefits designed to make world-class healthcare more accessible and affordable for Bangladeshi citizens seeking treatment abroad.
Mr Redha Moin Reza co-founder of Sylhet Medicare and his team, played a crucial role in organizing the event, underscoring the growing collaboration between medical institutions in Bangladesh and India. The partnership is expected to streamline the process for patients from Sylhet who require specialized treatment not readily available locally.
The meeting was attended by a number of local medical professionals, HCFs and partners, who engaged in discussions about improving patient care pathways and ensuring a smooth transition for those traveling to Amrita Hospital for treatment. The initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening cross-border healthcare cooperation and offering more options for patients in the region.
