Tower Hamlets Council warmly invites you to the Town Hall Open Day & Official Plaque Unveiling on Saturday, 20 September, celebrating the transformation of the historic Royal London Hospital building into the new Town Hall.

Location: Tower Hamlets Town Hall (former Royal London Hospital), opposite Whitechapel Station
Time: From 12pm | Plaque Unveiling: 2.00pm (Please arrive by 1.30pm)

As part of Open House London Weekend, this special event will feature:
- The unveiling of a commemorative plaque
- Guided architectural tours of the Grade II listed building
- A new photography exhibition marking 60 years of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
- Live performances from across our diverse community
- Pearly Kings and Queens sharing stories of the East End
- Family-friendly activities including face painting, balloon modelling, and fitness sessions
- A community marketplace with local traders and groups
